Electronic Poster Abstract Submissions
See One, Do One, Teach One

August 9-11, 2024
Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center
Grapevine, Texas

TGS and TMDA are seeking abstracts for case report/case series, education, quality improvement, and research categories.  

The following information is required to successfully submit a POSTER ABSTRACT:

Case Report/Case Series Category
Introduction (provide a context of the case, its relevance and importance), case description (history, physical examination, investigative studies, progress, outcomes),  and discussion (extract the lesson(s) learned, discuss decisions that were made).

Education Category
Title, introduction/objective, design/methodology, results, and conclusion/discussion.

Quality Improvement Category
Background (description of the existing quality gap), objective/aim, quality improvement methods (strategy for improvement, design, setting, participants, interventions, measurements, evaluation), results (impact of the change), and conclusions (generalizable lessons learned).

Research Category
Title, introduction/objective, design/methodology, results, and conclusion/discussion.

Other Requirements:
There is a 3,000-character count limit for poster abstract submissions. This limit does not include the abstract title or authors. Punctuation does count against the 3,000 character limit. 

Deadline for abstract submission:  April 15, 2024.  

Accepted Abstracts:
The posters will be presented electronically on Saturday, August 10th, along with a ten minute author led presentation to all attendees.  
The one hour time slot for presentations will be determined by May 20th.  
Abstracts will be submitted for CME credit.
Each presenter will need to complete one or more disclosures.  
Posters must be emailed as a single power point slide by August 1, 2024.   
At least one author must register to attend the conference and present the poster.

Works in Progress:
If you can not make the April 15, 2024 deadline, you may submit an abstract by July 1, 20234for consideration.  These posters will NOT be CME eligible but will count as scholarly activity.  At least one author must register and attend the conference.
